Principles
Four rules we hold ourselves to on every transfer.
We are not going to quote a headline number that only applies to one route. These are the rules that apply to all of them.
You see it before you confirm
The fee, the exchange rate and the amount your recipient receives are all on the confirmation screen. If you do not like what you see, you close the screen and nothing has happened.
The rate you were quoted is the rate
We do not show one number and settle on another. Where a margin applies to a conversion, it sits inside the rate you were shown, not in a second charge you discover later.
Nothing is deducted on arrival
The amount stated at confirmation is the amount that lands. We do not allow a deduction to appear at the far end of a transfer.
Holding a balance has no monthly fee
There is no monthly charge to keep your account open, and no charge for holding your balance in more than one currency.

What moves the number
The exact cost depends on where it goes and how it lands.
Three things decide what a given transfer costs. None of them are hidden from you at the point you confirm.
The corridor
Where the money starts and where it ends. Some routes are short and heavily travelled. Others cross more institutions to get there, and that shows up in the cost.
The payout method
A bank account and a mobile wallet are not the same delivery. Each destination prices its own last step, and that step is part of what you are quoted.
The currency pair
Converting between two heavily traded currencies is not the same as converting into a thinly traded one. The rate reflects the pair you are actually moving.

Why is there no price list on this page?
Because one number would be wrong for most of the people reading it. Cost depends on the corridor, the payout method and the currency pair. We would rather quote you accurately in the app than approximately on a web page.
When do I find out what a transfer costs?
Before you confirm it. You enter the amount, choose how the money should arrive, and the fee and the rate appear together with the amount your recipient receives.
Does the recipient pay anything?
Not to us. The amount shown at confirmation is the amount that lands, and we do not apply a charge on arrival.
Does it cost anything to keep money in the account?
There is no monthly fee, in one currency or across several. You convert when you decide to, and the conversion is priced inside the rate you are shown at that moment.
